A wild video from the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires exhibits a parked Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing B737-700 plane spun round by highly effective winds on Sunday.
Argentina’s meteorological service stated winds on Sunday had been greater than 93 mph. The incident occurred on the Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery Worldwide Airport – a few mile from the capital.
Aviation weblog Simple Flying first reported the wild storm and injury the 737 sustained throughout the incident:
The video posted by Journalist Andrews Abreu on X, previously often known as Twitter, showcases sturdy winds catching a parked Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 737-700 and seeing the plane spinning. The plane then crashed into floor tools, together with airstairs and a floor energy unit, and sustained injury— the extent to which the plane was broken is unknown. Nonetheless, Aerolineas Argentinas canceled the plane’s subsequent flight, a scheduled service between AEP and Mendoza Governor Francisco Gabrielli Worldwide Airport (MDZ).
Here is the video:
The bottom crew apparently forgot to tie down the plane earlier than the storm approached. Whoops!
