Crude oil for January supply was up 2.77% or 1.92 to $71.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, Brent oil for supply in February rose 2.16% or 1.60 to hit $75.65 a barrel, whereas the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 25.60 to commerce at $2,020.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to three.71, whereas EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to three.99.
The US Greenback Index Futures was up 0.45% at 103.63.
