SINGAPORE (Reuters) – Singapore Airways (OTC:) shares fell greater than 1% in early commerce on Thursday, following a lethal turbulence-hit flight.
One passenger died of a suspected coronary heart assault and dozens have been injured after flight Singapore Airways SQ321 encountered what the airline described as sudden, excessive, turbulence whereas flying over Myanmar on Tuesday.
Singapore markets have been closed for a vacation on Wednesday and resumed commerce on Thursday. Early turnover within the inventory was modest and it was final down 1.3% at S$6.67 ($4.94) after dipping so far as 1.8% to S$6.64.
